The Under 21s have had a tough pre season not winning a game to starting the season and taking 6 points from a possible 6. To win 4-1 at home in the first game of the season and then to have a reverse fixture and win 4-2 was great to see especially when the goalscorers on both weeks was total different scorers showing the quality within the squad. There is a big squad depth within the U21s and changes are forced on some occasions but the group of players are more than capable of dealing with the change. We are set to travel away again this Sunday with an early kick off at Hyde United away as we face Gary Able’s side which will be there to give us a very tough game but we will take our strongest 16 that’s available as we aim to keep our unbeaten league record. Great to see us bringing up one of our U18s Simon into the squad in both our first and second game and he has shone massively and is showing the quality that we have available in our U18s. Wishing Joe a speedy recovery who fractured his foot on Sundays game which will see him out of action for the next 4 weeks. #UPTHEABBEY
